International Islamic Conference 2023 Commences in Holy Makkah, Scholars from 85 Countries Participate

The International Islamic Conference has begun in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

The conference, organized under the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, spans over two days and includes the participation of 150 religious scholars, clerics, and Islamic researchers from 85 countries, including Pakistan.

The objective of the conference is to establish connections among scholars, clerics, and researchers from different nations and schools of thought.

Dr. Abdulatif Al Sheikh, the Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, delivered the inaugural address at the conference.

During the conference, participants will engage in discussions across seven panels, focusing on topics such as “Tolerance and Mutual Understanding,” “Extremism and Terrorism,” and the “Role of Religious Scholars and Spiritual Leaders” among other issues facing Muslims globally.

The International Islamic Conference serves as a platform for scholars and experts to exchange insights and address pertinent matters concerning the Islamic world. The event underscores the importance of collaborative efforts in fostering a better understanding of Islam and its teachings across diverse cultures and regions.
