Eid Milad-un-Nabi Holiday Declared on 29th September 2023 in Pakistan

On September 29, 2023, Friday, Pakistan will observe a public holiday in celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi. The federal government has officially declared this holiday through a notification issued by the Cabinet Division. According to the notification, the Prime Minister has announced the public holiday to mark the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, which falls on the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal, 1445 A.H.

Eid Milad-un-Nabi, the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), is an important religious observance celebrated every year on the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal. The entire country witnesses a festive atmosphere with streets adorned to commemorate this significant day with religious fervor.

Traditionally, various processions are organized in major cities throughout the country. Participants in these processions proudly wave flags and chant slogans, demonstrating their deep devotion and reverence for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This holiday is a time for religious zeal and communal celebration in Pakistan.
